Tune-Ups & Testing
Superior's Engineers have years of experience and are very familiar with all types and manufacturers of coolant clarification equipment.
Often, coolant filtration problems result from a system not working to its potential due to improper valve or electrical settings, improper media selection, worn components, vacuum leaks, air entrainment, etc.. A System Tune-Up can be a low cost method to identify and solve these problems. Our engineers are available to spend a day analyzing your equipment, and to provide direction for reestablishing efficient operation.
If an existing system is undersized or is not capable of achieving the filtration requirement of your metalworking application, it does not necessarily need to be replaced. Parts of these systems may be reused and incorporated into an Engineered Upgrade. By integrating control panels, pumps, tanks, make-up systems, piping headers and other components you already have, you can save thousands of dollars and time. These systems can usually be altered on your floor, without disrupting production.
Superior Filtration tends to be conservative when sizing and selecting a clarification system, and so should you. Nothing is worse than spending many thousands of dollars on a system which is not up to the task, then having to live with its inefficient operation for years. We always recommend testing for any applications which are non-standard, unusual, or risky. Superior Filtration's engineers are available to run these tests in your plant to prove out our proposed methods.
Do not take for granted that other filter suppliers "know what they're doing". If their proposals look "iffy" or seem to defy earth physics, have them prove that it will work for you.
