Equipment with the best removal efficiencies generally deliver the best sump life and tool life, and are not  the lowest cost.

Equipment which minimizes solid waste generation may yield short sump life and significant liquid waste generation.

Equipment which is not automatic or self-cleaning may have the lowest cost but may also yield the highest maintenance requirement and the highest production down-time.
